Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account or personal data associated with PricePal. This page explains how.
Your Rights
Under the Bahamas Data Protection Act and our commitment to user privacy, you have the right to request:
- Account deletion — removal of your PricePal app account (if you have one) and associated data.
- Data deletion — removal of personal data we hold about you (e.g. information submitted via the website, such as retailer registration inquiries).
How to Request Deletion
By email
Send a request to support@noviogroup.com with the subject line “Data deletion request” or “Account deletion request”. Please include:
- Your full name and, if applicable, the email address associated with your account or form submission.
- Whether you are requesting deletion of (a) an app account, (b) website/form data (e.g. retailer inquiry), or (c) both.
- Any other details that will help us locate your data (e.g. business name if you submitted a retailer form).
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your data.
What We Will Do
Once we receive and verify your request, we will:
- Process the deletion within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or complexity).
- Remove or anonymize your personal data from our systems, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (e.g. resolving disputes, compliance).
- Confirm to you by email when the deletion has been completed, where appropriate.
App Data
If you use the PricePal mobile app and have an account, in-app data (e.g. shopping lists, preferences) may be stored on our servers. A successful account deletion request will include removal of that data. You may also be able to delete or clear some data directly in the app — check the app’s settings or help section.
Website & Form Submissions
Data you submitted through the PricePal website (e.g. retailer registration interest) is stored in our systems. A data deletion request will result in removal of your identifiable information from those records, subject to any legal retention requirements.
